New Concepts for an Old Topic
This link is to an article that explains some of the "why" behind my nutritional recommendations. My guidelines have been built up based on what "works" for us. Reading "Physiological Bases of Sport Performance" highlighted some of the physiological benefits of my nutritional strategy (for adult, ultra-endurance athletes). For the coaches on list, it's a good read. Epic Eating. Epic New Zealand was a monster training camp -- it challenged me in new ways. At times, the lads had me feeling completely out of my depth.
